There are two types of wages on Forge: fixed wages and dynamic wages.
Managers can offer either option of wages to their Team Members, based on their corporate settings.
Fixed wages are static wages (i.e. $10/hr.) that are contractually agreed upon between the employer and employee at the commencement of employment.
Dynamic wages have minimum and maximum thresholds (i.e. $10/hr to $11.50/hr). The minimum wage is always set to the "fixed" wage in Forge and should be equal to the Team Member's wage as outlined in their employment contract. The "bonus wage" is the maximum a business is willing to pay for this employee to work based on their skill level and the demand for labor that the store has.
When there is not enough supply of talent to fit the demand of a shift, Forge's algorithm will offer a bonus to employees incrementally or up-to the maximum wage to ensure the shift is filled before it's start time.
